Mission & Philosophy

The Mission

Why is it that people are very diligent and ambitious in the act of earning money and once it has been earned, they no longer seem to care what happens to it ?

They put it to sleep on a zero-interest savings account or they invest in things they do not understand the workings of. They are not actively engaged in the management of their savings. And in the process, inflation being higher than nominal interest, the value decreases.

Some of that is being lazy. Some of it is fear. Some of it is lack of knowledge.

And some of it is all of those combined.

The mission is to change that.

With investment courses and with newsletters.

And with two portfolio funds to invest in if you so choose.

The mission is to inspire financial ambition.

The Philosophy

Investing is like sailing. You study the charts, the weather, the waves and the wind. You set an objective and a course to get there. You choose your sails, you set them and trim them.

And then you sit back and enjoy. Every maneuver, every change in direction, makes you lose kinetic energy. You lose momentum. The best way to gain speed is to stay the course.

And when the weather turns foul, you diminish the sails and you pull your hat over your ears. But you remain calm and determined. And you certainly do not jump ship !

Steady as she goes.
